Decidify (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) helps you find US cities that fit your priorities. We built Decidify on a simple principle: we collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what we handle and how.
Information we collect
- Quiz and profile responses. When you take the matching quiz, your answers (such as budget priorities, lifestyle preferences, household type, and relocation stage) are processed to generate your city recommendations. These responses are stored anonymously and are not linked to your name, email, or any identity.
- Purchase information. If you buy Decidify’s premium report, your purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and managed through our payments partner, RevenueCat. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made and its status, but we never receive or store your payment card details.
- Basic technical data. Like most apps, our infrastructure may process limited technical information (such as device type or app version) needed to deliver and troubleshoot the service.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or precise location.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
- We don’t build advertising profiles about you.
How we use information
We use the information above only to generate and personalize your city recommendations, deliver and restore your premium purchase, and maintain, secure, and improve the app.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Decidify:
- Supabase — hosts our city database and stores anonymous quiz and profile responses.
- RevenueCat, Apple, and Google — process and manage purchases.
- Expo (EAS) — delivers the app and its over-the-air updates; when the app checks for an update, limited device and app-version metadata is processed to serve the correct version.
These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
Data retention
Anonymous quiz and profile responses are retained to operate and improve the matching service. Because they aren’t tied to an identity, they can’t be traced back to you individually. Purchase records are retained as required by the app stores and applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because Decidify stores quiz data anonymously and doesn’t maintain accounts, we often hold no information that identifies you personally. If you have a question or request, contact us and we’ll help.
Children
Decidify is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
